Missy’s MAD Challenge # 025 – M.A.D. Works

Staring into the mirror, I see
A thousand versions looking back at me—
Eyes that question, lips sealed tight,
Shadows flicker in morning light.

The past drips down like melting rain,
Each droplet carved with silent pain,
But in the glass, not all is lost—
There’s fire behind the growing frost.

The lines are maps, not marks of age,
Each wrinkle a word on a turning page,
And though the gaze feels far, estranged,
A whisper says: You’re not unchanged.

Staring into the mirror, I find
The fragile strength I left behind.
Not flawless, no—but still I stand,
A soul unfolding, hand by hand.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
