**Echoes of the Past**

In shadows, whispers of an echo,

The past unfurls its tale,

Of times both tender and tough,

Where strong hearts did prevail.

Childhood laced with memories sweet,

Yet tinged with bitter abuse,

Fighting through the stormy nights,

Surviving with little excuse.

Resilience like a river flows,

Through valleys dark and wide,

Blooming from the cracks in stone,

Healing wounds that once did hide.

Now thriving in the sunlight’s grace,

The echoes softly cast,

A song of strength, of blooming hearts,

From the resilient past.
