The prompt for Linda G Hill’s stream of consciousness post this week is wallpaper.
While my PA Frances was on her two weeks holidays, she wallpapered her whole house. She was very proud of the fact that she single handedly did it by herself.
I don’t have any wallpaper in my house. All of my walls are painted, and a few of them have tiles on them.
When I was a kid we had wallpaper all over our house. In my bedroom there was wallpaper with patterns on it.
It was a huge dose trying to hang it, I remember mom would be doing it, and she’d have to mix paste, and put the paste onto the wallpaper before hanging it.
It was a big mess. She’d be totally stressed out.
I think its kind of rare now for people to wallpaper their house. I know its still sold, but I don’t think too many people buy it nowadays.
