What Made September Special Natalie the Explorer (home.blog)
This hasnt been the best weekend! I’ve been feeling under the weather for most of it! But now, as I am feeling more like myself again, lets catch up, come in to my little corner of the blogosphere, have a hot or cold drink, I have coffee and tea, water or a soft drink, have whatever takes your fancy, and lets catch up!
First things first. If we were having a coffee I’d tell you that on Friday I recieved a letter from the courts, telling me they did not need me to sit on the jury, so thanks to my wonderful psychiatrist, who must’ve written an amazing letter for me so that I’d be excused! I am delighted that I don’t have to worry about that any longer now.
If we were having coffee, I’d also tell you that our weathers turned really cold. The forecasters called for lots of rain this weekend, but so far we havent seen any rain, I bet this will change this morning though. I’m glad I’ll be indoors, I have no need to go out, so I won’t get wet!
If we were having coffee I’d also tell you that my mom is going to get her covid booster shot this afternoon. Her appointment is at 2:30. She is one of the first to get it as she has COPD so she’s classed as being vulnerable, and as someone with an underlying illness. My aunt is taking her to get it.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve been having some dissociative symptoms this weekend, they’ve been kind of intense, and I am very anxious too. The anxiety is quite bad, and it is making me feel overwhelmed, plus, the dissociation is not helping matters. I just feel so off. I have therapy in the morning, psychotherapy, and I am so relieved, as I will have someone to bounce ideas around with.
I would also tell you that I spent this weekend on my own, and that wasnt ideal. I couldnt go to my parents house, and I found it difficult spending the weekend on my own, at home, especially since I felt ill. I slept for most of it. I’m glad I was able to sleep, it made things more bareable.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I don’t have to cook sunday dinner today. My mom is dropping me over a plate, on her way to get vaccinated, I’ll be having bacon, cabbage and mashed potatos. Yum! I cant wait.
If we were having a coffee, I’d also be telling you that I wrote in my diary every day last week. I am so thrilled with myself. This is not my blog, but rather a private diary that I keep for me and my alters.
I’d also tell you that I’ve been reading a lot, and I’m almost finished reading the latest cathy glass book now, I have about 2 hours of the book left to read. I have really enjoyed her latest foster care memoir.
Well that about wraps up my weekend coffee share. How has your weekend been?

Talk to me! I love comments!
