Well, my PA trish was supposed to come this afternoon. Originally we’d swapped her shift from yesterday afternoon to this afternoon, because she couldn’t do yesterday.
At 2 PM today, which was the time she was meant to arrive, she texted me to say she had to cancel, and she’d let the office know.
I was so annoyed! Its not the first time she’s canceled on me.
But there really wasn’t much I could do!
I texted her back a reply, and I just said ok, see you soon!
Then after about 15 minutes my coordinator her boss rang me.
She said that Trish wasn’t able to come today, and I told her I knew, that she’d texted me letting me know.
I told her that I wasn’t very happy, since its not the first time she’s canceled.
She kind of blew me off, and she just said I’ll phone you during the week.
She said she couldn’t get anyone to cover, as it was too short notice.
So that was that…I was left without anyone to help me to cook.
Luckily I had some food that I could prepare myself, but it wasn’t very healthy.
Well, I had potato waffles and baked beans for dinner.
I’m still pretty mad about the whole thing though.
I need someone reliable. If Trish has a good reason I might be more forgiving, but well, as I don’t know why she canceled I don’t know her reasons.
Anyway. I will probably talk to her about it if I feel brave.
She’s off next week as she’s on holidays again, Frances is doing the cover for her.
