what’s happening in your world today?
Everyone is applauding everyone but our children. These little heroes have stayed indoors more than they’ve ever known in their lives. Their whole worlds have literally been turned upside down. All these rules they’ve never known. A life they couldn’t have imagined. All the things they love like sports, being with friends, going to school, or just being kids have all been taken away from them. Adults talking about others becoming unwell, news reporting death after death. Our poor children’s minds must be racing. Every day they get up and carry on despite all that’s going on. So heres to our little heroes: today, tomorrow, forever.
Just heard on our news, we here in ireland have over 3000 cases of corona virus now. We’ve had 13 more deaths today bringing our death total to 71.
its so scary. They are predicting that the virus will peak for us from April 10th to april 14th. There is supposed to be a spike in cases then.
So the advice to all is, stay put, stay home, dont go anywhere unnecessarily. I am glad I have a home, I am also glad I dont have underlying medical conditions that make me suseptible to catching it.
Small blessings, a lot to be thankful for.
This world is forever changed
The world we once knew
Is no more
By the coronavirus pandemic
As we wait for it to go back
And we wonder?
Will it ever?
I couldnt reblog this for some reason, so I am just copying the text of the post here.
donnalee, who blogs over at laughing dakini territ reading blog, posted this on her blog just now.
The site features magnificent and diverse works of dancing, music, theater, all kinds of things, from the Metropolitan Opera in New York to the Paris Opera to many multicultural works, and they are free for all of us to check out. Enjoy, and they are always looking for more work to feature, especially if its performance has been cancelled due to the coronavirus reactions, so maybe your work can get there too, with this great international platform available.
We will rise above coronavirus!
Stay calm! Stay safe!
Coronavirus wont beat us!
it covers the garden
like a blanket
as it lightly falls
look so pretty
as I stand outside
in the stillness of the night
breathing in the night air
and waiting for nitro to do his thing
how much I love
