Work out win!

So I’ve been working out daily for a few days now. My goal has been to do 3 miles per day on the treadmill. I do it in 1 mile incraments. So I do a mile in the morning, and then throughout the day I do another further two miles. This morning I did a mile in 11 minutes, so I am getting faster. I can usually do the mile in 10 or 11 minutes. I use my apple watch to track distance, time, calories burned, etc. The watch is great for that. I am enjoying working out. Now that I can track my progress its really spurred me on to want to do more, and do better. I will do a further 2 miles tomorrow, not 3. Then I’ll take a break on Saturday, and get back again to it on Sunday. I am hopeful doing all this exercise will tone up my stomach, where most of my fat is. If I could tone that, I’d be flying it. I know I’m actually quite fit so I am not worried about my fitness levels. Its just to tone up, thats the main reason why I am exercising now.

30 minute workout

I just completed my first 30 minute workout of the week! I feel fab now! I cant believe I did it! Exercised for 30 minutes! Yay! I am delighted with myself. I finished it, and then drank a bottle of water to cool down. I entered in the details on the app on my phone. I’m not sure how many steps I did as I didnt have my phone with me, but I’m sure it was close to 10 thousand. I hope it was. I am determined to work out each morning, for at least 20 to 30 minutes. Today was day one. And I smashed it!

Operation transformation, its time I got in shape!

So there is this show on our tv for the next 8 weeks. Its called operation transformation. It is a show where 5 people try to lose weight, get healthy and get active.

A GP, psychologist, fitness expert, and a dietician make up a plan and the 5 leaders follow it. All of Ireland gets behind this show. Its a fantastic way to get active and healthy.

I’ve decided to download the operation transformation app and follow along, and try to exercise for 30 minutes each day.

I even set a reminder on the app to remind me to work out at 8 AM each morning.

I am determined to get in shape and do this. I have to get my belly to shrink. Exercising is the only way to do it.

I already eat healthy, its just exercising that I am not accomplishing.

So heres to the start of me getting in shape and toning up over the next 8 weeks. Bring it, I’m ready!

A quiet day

I had a very quiet day at home. After the drama with the neighbour earlier, I didnt hear anything else aboutit so I assume everythings ok, and the police are now investigating.
I was exhausted by four pm, so I went to bed, to read. Of course I fell asleep. I didnt wake up until 8:30 PM. I will probably be up a while now, since I woke up so late.
I decided to cook. I made yummy sweet potato fries and some chicken, and I’ve just eaten it. It was delicious.
My plan for tomorrow is to go to the gym. My PA will be here at 9 AM. My plan is go to the gym, and then go get my weekly money out of the ATM.
Of course I am also volunteering tomorrow afternoon. And then I have college on saturday all day. We’re doing the second wrap training. I’m going to mom and dads for the weekend too.

Weight loss update for this week

So I went to slimming world last night. I was down 1 pound this week! I wasnt sure I’d be down at all this week. So it was a real bonus that I was!
I’ll take a pound! Being down any amount at all is nice!
I’m now down a total of 2 stone 8.5 pounds! Or 36.5 pounds! I’m not sure how christmas will go, I might put up a few pounds, not sure if I will, but probably well its a possibility! But I dont mind if I do! I’m not worried! I can lose it again if I do!
