PROMPT WORD: ZEST
Mandy decided to make homemade orange juice for the family to drink with their breakfast. She peeled some oranges, and began to juice them, the zest of the oranges being the best part, she thought. She made a huge pitcher of juice, and just as she finished her daughter Ivy came into the kitchen.
Mom, Ivy said, I’m thirsty!
Oh I just made some juice, her mom said, want to try it?
Mandy poured two glasses of juice, and they sat down together at the kitchen table and drank it, and Mandy helped Ivy with her maths homework.
