The discussion around the table was very topical.
Jessica was starting to feel very uncomfortable. She wasn’t used to discussing such heated topics.
Politics was not a topic she enjoyed talking about, and it seemed like everyone else who was around her dining room table was enjoying discussing the upcoming election.
“Are we done yet?”, she asked?
“What?”?
Her friends were not too pleased when she butted into the conversation.
Ok, then, she thought.
Getting up from the table she said loudly…
“I’m taking jasper for a walk”!
She hurriedly got the dogs lead on.
At least Jasper was excited to be going out walking.
Before any of her friends could say anything else, she hurried out of the door.
Let them talk about politics without her, she thought.
She wasn’t missing anything. Politics was the most uninteresting topic to her.
