Prompt A (nonfiction challenge): What is an outdoor activity that you enjoy?
Prompt B (sentence starter): “There is no I in team.”
Prompt C (photo):
I enjoy walking. I like to go walking whenI can. Long walks are awesome!
I like to bring Nitro!
He enjoys walking very much, his tail wags and he pulls hard! He’s strong on the lead!
Plus walking is good exercise! I think we should all walk more!
I love it on a warm sunny day!
Do you enjoy walking? Do you have a dog to walk?
Today’s prompt: How do you release your stress?
for me, I get stressed super easily. I release it in a number of ways.
I journal. My journal is my blog. I’ve found great support in blogging. Other bloggers have been incredibly supportive. I am forever grateful for that.
I like to take a long hot shower, or if I am at my parents I take a hot bath. I don’t have a bath in my own house. The shower is bliss. I like to stand and let the water run down on me. Its so healing.
I go for a walk or I pound the treadmill. I find that releases a lot for me. I enjoy it also. Nothing like getting your blood pumping.
I drink a cup of tea. Tea makes everything better, that is a saying one of our alters, whose 12 uses. And she’s right. A nice cup of tea makes me feel comforted and less stressed.
I read. Getting lost in a good book is always a stress reliever. I can engross myself in the story. It takes me out of my head for a while which I find helpful.
I play with Nitro. We have a lot of fun together. He’s such a cutie. I love playing fetch or chasing with him. I also love just cuddling him. He’s such a cuddly dog.
I do other things, but right now they aren’t coming to me. I do feel that releasing stress is an important part of healing and I do it when I can. Whenever an opportunity arises to do something to be less stressed out, I’m in!
Today’s prompt: What is a city that you would love to visit or have visited?
I have visited Paris! It was lovely there! But very very expensive! But I enjoyed my time there. I did some touristy things, like visiting the Eifel tower, and going on a cruise on the river, and visiting a few other places. I would go back again, although I didn’t think the french people were very friendly! They can be a bit rude at times! Not all of them of course, but the ones I came in contact with were!
Overall the city was nice, though.
Today’s prompt: What is one television show or episode from your childhood that you still remember today?
Well, for me, it would have to be the care bears! I loved that show so much when I was a kid! I still do even now! We collect all the dvd’s of the care bears! Our little alters love them as much now as we did when we were kids! Although I think the ones from the 80’s were the best! They dont make those nowadays, but the ones they make nowadays are still really good too! That show was epic! Such a feel good show!
Today’s prompt: What is one thing that you can do well?
I can sing! I used to go to stage school when I was younger. I took voice lessons, dance, and speech and drama. I loved it. As an adult I have also taken voice lessons. I like to sing pop songs. I also love musical theatre. I enjoy singing in the shower, at get togethers, and parties. It brings me so much joy and makes me feel good. I think I sing well. My friends used to say I sang like a Disney princess. My partner loved when I’d sing part of your world from the little mermaid, she said I sound exactly like aerial. Lol. 😀
Can foster carer Maggie Hartley reunite a vulnerable little boy grieving for his mummy with his ex-military father?
This is an amazing read. I would highly recommend it.
The story has many twists and turns, ups and downs, highs and lows.
I give it a 5 star rating!
Its a fantastic book and you wont be disappointed!
Maggie Hartley has done it once again! She takes the reader into her world, the world of being a foster parent to a traumatised child.
I enjoyed this book very much!
If you want to read it its available either as an Ebook, or an audio book. Both available on amazon and audible.
Also in all good book shops, as a paperback.
Once you start reading, you’ll be hooked, and unable to put it down!
