Off to Kinsale tomorrow!

Well tomorrow, mom and me are heading to Kinsale! For those who dont know its a nice little tourist town in cork, well outside the city, but still in cork.

We’re taking a bus to get there. My aunt, moms sister was meant to be coming too, but she canceled, so its just mom and me.

It takes 50 mins to get there on the bus. I am excited to go. And I hope the weather is going to cooperate! Its meant to be nice but we shall see!

We’ll have a walk about in the town, maybe look in a few shops, have our lunch and maybe go for a long walk. I’m not eating out though I’m going to bring my own packed lunch. I want to stay on track with my healthy eating plan, so bringing my own sandwich and fruit is the best thing to do!

I’ll take some photos and post them to the blog! Stay tuned!

she’s home tomorrow

My sister gets home from her holidays tomorrow! Late tomorrow night she flies back into cork.

She had a brilliant time! She enjoyed the break. The weather was lovely for them too! In the 30’s every day!

They did a lot of sight seeing! And swimming in the pool and going to the beach!
Dad and mom have her two pugs, they’ve been looking after them. The pugs are sooo cute! One is a barker though, she barks at everything that moves!
I’ll see my sister on Sunday, as she and her partner and kids are coming to mom and dads for dinner.
I wonder if she brought me back a present? We’ll see! I’d love a new bag, or some perfume!

Food diary for Friday!

So here we go with another food diary! Another day down and I am still on plan!

Breakfast today consisted of a fruit salad, topped with yogurt. In it there were strawberries, grapes, manderine oranges, and then I topped it with yogurt and it was delicious!

Lunch consisted of some fruit, I ate a peach, nectarine and a kiwi!

Dinner was a baked potato, some chicken, and some cauliflower rice! I have to say the rice was good! It didnt even taste like cauliflower! It had quinoa in it and lentils too!

Drinks today were tea, and water! I have drank 2 litres of water today!

Thats my day in a nutshell!

Healing quote for Friday!

The way we see the world shapes the way we treat it. If a mountain is a deity, not a pile of ore; if a river is one of the veins of the land, not potential irrigation water; if a forest is a sacred grove, not timber; if other species are biological kin, not resources; or if the planet is our mother, not an opportunity — then we will treat each other with greater respect. Thus is the challenge, to look at the world from a different perspective.
