Tracking food and activity!

I’ve been good today about keeping track of my syns, I spell it syns because thats how it is spelled in slimming world, I am allowed 15 syns per day, and today I did not go over the allotted amount yay!

I’ve also been keeping track of what I am drinking today! I’ve drank a lot of tea, coffee and coke and not so much water! That needs to change for the rest of the coming week!

I didnt exercise at all today, I am sooo baaad!

Tomorrow I will aim to do some, and track my activity also! Which reminds me if I am going to do that I’d better charge up my apple watch!

Its fun to track water intake, exercise and what I am eating, but I can become a little obsessive about it so I have to be careful that that doesnt happen!

Hmmm! Really? Well, according to moi, thats really the truth!

I am loud and proud of it! When I am having an issue with something, or someone, you’ll hear me ranting and raving! I dont care if I sound whiny! I dont care if I seem insane! Unless you are loud and out there, nothing gets fixed!

Take canceling my email address with my ISP, who wanted to charge me 6 euro a month just to use it!

There was no damn way I was paying 6 euro for the use of their email service when I can get a gmail addy for free!

So what did I do?

I called them up and gave them a piece of my mind, before saying, go ahead and cancel it!

They werent impressed but did I care?


My thing was, tell them how I felt!

I am glad I did!

Altitude sickness

I’ve been reading up on how to avoid getting altitude sickness while visiting Colorado. As you all know I’m going there in just over 3 months time.
I want to avoid it! I do not want to get it if I can help it!
Has any of my readers ever gotten altitude sickness? If so how do you avoid it? What tips do you have for me?
I’m all ears!
I seriously am hoping I wont get sick on my trip! I will just drink plenty of water!
Even if you’ve never been to Colorado, have you been somewhere where there is or was high altitude, and if you have, what did you do to avoid becoming ill?

Facing my fears payed off

I did it guys! I smashed it on the scales today!

I was down half a pound when I got weighed! Its better than being up. I’ll take half a pound.

I’m going to really throw myself into it this coming week, and I hope to lose at least 2 pounds next week!

But for today half a pound it is! And thats fantastic considering I was out of town this past weekend!

I’m so glad I went this morning to be weighed, I was half thinking about not going.

Time to step on that scales, Facing my fear of being weighed

Its weigh in day this morning.

I doubt I’ll be down this week. I didnt eat too much junk food over the week and weekend, but I did have a couple of things, including a danish pastry on the train on my way home from dublin, and some chocolate and icecream while I was in dublin for the weekend.

If I do lose, I’ll be very surprised. I’ll be thrilled, but to be totally honest I’m not holding out much hope.

I’d love a maintain, or a loss, but if it doesnt happen, then, so be it.

I can work harder next week.

The main thing is that I go to my weigh in today and be accountible. Go and face it, whatever the scales says.

Feel the fear and do it anyway!
