Happy labour day to all of my american readers! I hope you enjoy the holiday, whatever your doing for it!
If your canadian and its labour day there too, well then, I hope you also enjoy it.
I never really did understand what labour day means. We dont celebrate that holiday in ireland.
Has anyone got any plans? What do you even do on that particular day?
Well I do hope you all have an enjoyable day and have a whole lot of fun!
My sister gets home from her holidays tomorrow! Late tomorrow night she flies back into cork.
She had a brilliant time! She enjoyed the break. The weather was lovely for them too! In the 30’s every day!
They did a lot of sight seeing! And swimming in the pool and going to the beach!
Dad and mom have her two pugs, they’ve been looking after them. The pugs are sooo cute! One is a barker though, she barks at everything that moves!
I’ll see my sister on Sunday, as she and her partner and kids are coming to mom and dads for dinner.
I wonder if she brought me back a present? We’ll see! I’d love a new bag, or some perfume!
I got an update from my sister today. She’s really enjoying her holiday, its really hot in the canaries, around 35 degrees c every day.
they took the kids to a zoo and a water park, go carting, and to the beach, there is a peer on the beach, the kids have been jumping off of it into the water and loving it.
Tomorrow she’ll be gone a week already. It went by so fast!
I’m glad she’s enjoying herself. Her partners sister came out there on thursday with her kids, and his other sister will be coming out on monday with her kids, and his mom and dad are there already they went at the same time as my sister and her partner.
We’d have gone too, if my mom was able to travel, but with her COPD she isnt able to fly long distances.
Happy fourth of July to anyone who lives in the US! I hope you have a lovely day whatever your doing. We dont celebrate the fourth of July in ireland, so I am going to live vocariously through you all today.
I hope you all have a fantastic day! 😀
Do let me know what your plans are!
And enjoy the day!
My sister jets off to Lansarote on Saturday morning, I wish I was her.
I’d love to be going on holiday somewhere abroad. I havent been abroad since 2013, the last time I went to america to visit my partner Jess was in 2013.
I’d love nothing more than to be going to a sun spot somewhere warm, sunny and where there is a pool.
I feel envious of my sister. My mom has promised to take me places while my sister is gone on her holidays. We’ll stay local, but hopefully the weather will cooperate and we’ll go to the beach and some other places where we can sight see, take pictures etc.
I’m excited to do that. I always love taking photos even though I cant actually see them.
I’m planning on making my own fun. I can have fun too even if I am not doing it from somewhere abroad.
Tonight, I booked a weekend away for mom, my sis and me!
Its a present to mom and my sister for their birthdays!
We’re going to Killarney! In august! For two nights! Staying in a hotel! Going to two shows! It will be fun!
I love Killarney! There is so much to do there!
I am sure we’ll have a blast!
I got a good deal too on it! Its going to be a bonding time for the 3 of us. We dont do stuff like this to often, we almost always have kids with us.
So this is going to be so much fun!
I am so excited!
August 24th here I come! Bring it on!

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below so others can find you.
Happy Writing! 😀
Today’s prompt: memorial, hamburger, frisbee
It was memorial day. Karen and her family were enjoying the holiday. They were having a cookout. They were going to eat hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, and other goodies. They couldn’t wait to start cooking, memorial day was always a special holiday for them. The kids played with a frizbee in the yard while they waited for the food to be done. Even their family dog, rover joined in. He chased the frizbee around the yard and barked at the kids. At 9 years old he was old, but he could still run like a puppy and he still acted like one.
Come on kiddos, the Foods ready, Karen called, come on guys, time to eat!
The kids ran to get some food! The sun was shining, it was going to be a great afternoon.
