Weekly Song Challenge, Round 26
Sammi Cox’s Rules:
The challenge is simple: each week you will be given an exact number of words you can use to write a poem or piece of prose. You can use any format or style you like; go wherever your inspiration takes you. The only rules are these:
•your poem/prose must contain this week’s word. The word does not have to count towards the exact word count total – it can be in the title, or the first letters of the lines of a poem can spell it out – you can be as creative as you want as long as it’s there somewhere.
•the length of your poem/prose must match the number of words stated in this week’s challenge. No more. No less.
for some people
to shake them
You really irk me!
but I don’t
I am far to
Nice to do that
Total word count, 30 words!
Dawn looked at adam. Her blue eyes pierced right through him as she stared intently at him.
But adam, she said, with a huge sigh, you know I am right! I am far more sapient than you are!
Women are way more sapient!
Adam kept disagreeing with her! No! He shouted, It isn’t so!
Oh yeah? well then, give me 3 good reasons why it isn’t so!
Adam couldn’t give even one. So after much thinking, he gave in and walked off.
Dawn had won the argument, see?
She always knew women were more sapient than men.
They had all the answers to arguments about that too!
She decided to go see what all her friends were up to and to tell them I won an argument!
Meanwhile, Adam was busy trying to think of reasons for why men and women differed so much.
I suppose I’ll never really know, he said, as he stared glumly into his cup of tea.
#NDRW – #60
I descry a guy
In the morning sun
What is he doing
Where is he going?
Who is this guy?
Can he see me?
Does he know how curious I am?
Does he know I want to know
What he’s up to?
That is what I like to do
As I descry
In the distance
The same guy
Making his way
In my direction
Now picking up his pace
He’s getting closer to me
I think its time I duck now
Before he accuses me
Of being a spy!

I decided to distract and do a Writing prompt…the prompt I chose is Outside the Window: What’s the weather outside your window doing right now? If that’s not inspiring, what’s the weather like somewhere you wish you could be?
The weather outside tonight is cold and dry, we had rain earlier though!
I am glad to be inside! I don’t like to be cold!
I enjoy listening to the rain pitter pattering off the windows!
There was hailstone earlier tonight! It was huge!
Tomorrow I will hope for sun!
How about your weather? What is the weather like where you are right now?
Some affirmations on this sunday! ❤ check them out! ❤

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You
don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where
your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below
so others can find you.
Today’s prompt: surgeon, Chicago, doorknob
The surgeon lived in Chicago. He loved where he lived. He worked in a leading hospital, and he loved his job. He saved peoples lives every day, what could be a better job than that!
He had gone down to the hospital café to have breakfast. He sighed happily as he sipped his coffee! Suddenly the doorknob turned and another surgeon walked in.
Hurry, hurry he said! Your needed upstairs!
Quickly they both left their cups on the table and rushed out of the room!
