A family christmas
Gathered around with loved ones
On christmas day opening the gifts
Seeing the shining eyes of my niece and nephew
As they tear off the wrapping paper
Joy, pure joy
Opening my gifts
Surprises, surprises
Then most important
Is the christmas meal we will share
Turkey, ham, and all the trimmings
Followed by an afternoon of relaxing
A blissful way to spend this christmas
