Fandango has a new prompt, called, who won the week!
It is where you choose someone who you think won the week, who is either outstanding, did something good, it can be a celeb, blogger, politician, etc. Anyone you think who is worthy of the title!
For me, this first week goes to a local celeb, a restaurant here where I live, had a kitten on their roof. The kitten was stuck there for days. They tried everything to rescue it, but nothing was working, the fire department even came out, but they had no luck either, they didn’t rescue it. The local animal welfare people gave them traps to try to catch it, and still they couldnt rescue the kitten. It was very nervous, and every time anyone went near it it ran away.
Eventually, one of the restaurants employees, named lauren, and her brother, rescued the cat. The cat jumped from the roof, two floors up, and lauren and her brother heroically caught it.
What a stroke of luck!
I just heard Lauren being interviewed on the local radio. She said she’s going to name her new kitty roofus! 😀 what a cute name for the cat! I love it!
She definitely gets my vote for who won the week!

Who Won The Week?
I think this is what we all want to hear: That we are not alone in hitting the bottom, and that it is possible to come out of that place courageous, beautiful and strong.
Ok so over the weekend a book makers near where I live was robbed by 3 armed men. Watch what happens when this fearless 84 year old takes them on. He was so brave! He deserves an award for his bravery! He wasn’t afraid to fight back! He is inspiring!
The raders did not get any money because of him and what he did taking them on!
Watch this let me know what you think!

It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends. …
And my nominees for this challenge…

Our therapist eileen says i am brave. dr. barry says I am brave. why?
I am brave because I trusted them, I allowed them in.
I am brave because when it felt unsafe, I talked anyway.
I am brave because I have learned to let others in to my world.
I am brave…but yet I don’t feel it today.
Today I feel insecure and very vulnerable.
I need my therapist, I want to reach out, will I be brave and reach out to her?
I don’t know. Only time will tell.
My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every person who was caught up in 9-11 16 years ago today. I cant believe its been 16 years. I was a 21 year old studying in college and I remember the day very well. and who wouldnt? I remember watching the news, sitting at home with my dad watching the planes hit, and hearing the noise of people screaming, listening to all the horrific stories of people dying and others being rescued, it was heartbreaking.
On this anniversary I just want to say that I have not forgotten all of you who were effected, who may have lost loved ones, who live in new york, it is a sad day for all of you I know.
I will keep all of you very close in my heart today.
We don’t develop courage by being happy every day. We develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity.
