Meds and RLS

Last week dr. barry prescribed zyprexa/olanzapine for me. She put me on 15 mg of it at night.
I’ve had the worst restless leg since going on it! I take it around 9 PM, and by 11 PM I am restless and unable to keep still. It lasts for a few hours. Last night I put my legs on a pillow because someone suggested I do that.
I’m hoping it will stop after a few days, but am unsure if it will or not.
So today, this afternoon, I rang my CPN sarah. She was in a meeting but she called me back, and I asked her to ask dr. barry if she can prescribe something for me. Sarah is going to ring me back tomorrow to let me know if I can get something for it.
I also asked Eileen today if she had any hints for me on how I can manage it, she told me to get tonic water with some weird thing in it, I cant even remember what she said it was called. She said I could drink a glass of it before bed, and that would help the restless legs.
I think the zyprexa is working so I’m willing to keep taking it but I don’t want to have the restless legs. I cant deal with that.
I couldnt sleep for hours last night because every time I lay down my legs had a funny sensation in them and all I could do was move them and I kept moving them in different positions trying to get comfy.
So hoping I will be able to get a med to combat the side effects. The other problem I have is dry mouth. Its annoying, my mouth sticks together when I try to talk, I’m trying to chew gum and drink lots of water and other drinks to keep the saliva going in my mouth.
Anyway, thats where I’m at. If you got this far, thanks for reading. I appreciate you all so, so much.
