I had to insist that Frances allow me to buy her a hot chocolate this morning when we went to starbux. She didn’t want me to pay for her drink. I told her I was insisting, that she does enough for me and that I wanted to treat her.
So I payed 11 euros for a chai latte for me, a small hot chocolate with whipped cream for frances, and a cookie, for me. Frances didn’t want any food.
Then we sat and chatted as we drank our drinks. And I decided, that on Fridays, I’m gonna do this, and treat us to starbux each week, its gonna be part of my self care routine.
Cuz, if you cant treat yourself, and be kind to yourself, well, what do you have?
