#JusJoJan prompt january 20th 2019

Your prompt for JusJoJan 2019, January 20th is brought to you by Jill!
Jills word for our prompt today is serendipity

Well I think I had some very good serendipity last night! As Alexa just told me, serendipity means good fortune, or good luck.
Well I slept well last night as I said in another post, that in itself is a pure miracle!
I have a warm house, in this freezing cold weather, I have good food to eat, I have my puppy, I have home comforts, if all that isnt good serendipity then I really dont know what is!
I am so so grateful to have all that in my life! So many people dont!
I really Feel for the many people who are homeless, or have less good fortune, and a lot of bad luck, life seems to hand them disaster after disaster!
Today I will say a prayer for all of the people in the world who have less good fortune and who are struggling!
And I will be happy and grateful that I am having serendipity and am not one of them!

I slept well last night!

I must have really needed sleep! I slept yesterday afternoon after mom left for hours. I woke up around 9 PM, I stayed up then for a little while, but at around 11:30 I got tired again so decided to go back to bed. I went back to bed and I actually fell asleep right away! And I slept right through until 6:30 this morning!
Thats unheard of for me! I never sleep that much! So I must have been tired! Well I am happy I did. I am feeling good this morning. I woke up and made coffee, and am ready to start my day now!
No plans today other than just chill out at home. Was planning on visiting my friend norma but she’s busy so I will have to wait until next week to visit her.
So I think its just going to be a day of relaxation!

Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.

Since my dad suffers with collitis, I am sharing Lulabelles post! If you can donate, please do!

it's lulabelle.

As said by the fabulous Marilyn Monroe. Now, this can relate to SO many different things in my life for instance if I put on my favourite pair of heels, I believe I can rule the world. Every time I put on my nursing shoes, I know I’m stepping out into the world and making a difference. However this time, I’m putting on my running trainers to conquer the world – and by this I mean I will be running my first ever 5K in September to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK!

You can donate to my Just Giving page here!

If you know me well, you’ll know that I don’t run. I don’t even jog. You’re lucky if I walk fast enough to break a sweat however I have decided that 2019 will be the…

3 things challenge 19th January 2019

Todays prompt is: fish, nuke, jalopy

I’m really stumped!
so…Here I go…

I nuke a fish I caught. I nuke him in a corner, reel him in, and then, plop! He falls off the line! So much for nuking that little bugger!
Fishing just isnt my thing!

I couldnt think of a poem, or something to write for jalopy!
So this little titbit of silliness will have to do!
