I am celebrating, six years psych hospital free!

I am celebrating today. What am I celebrating?

Well, I am six years out of the psych ward!

Six years!

I cannot believe that! It feels so surreal!

I am so thankful to my psychiatrist doctor Barry. Without her I would not be where I am today. Thank you, thank you, doctor Barry!

Your amazing, so kind, caring, empathetic and so awesome!

I am also very thankful to my wonderful and amazing therapist Eileen!

Her love and care, guidance, and compassion has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life.

Over the past 10 years, she’s been my safety, my one person that I can count on through thick and thin.

I feel very proud that I haven’t been in the hospital in these past six years.

For once in my life, I feel good, I feel stable, I feel like I am healing!

Thanks goes out to all of those who helped me on my journey!

Here’s to another six years of no psych admissions!
