Fibs on a Friday!

Di is the host for fibbing Friday, a silly little prompt where she gives us questions, and we lie instead of giving the real answers!

This week she has given us senareos and we are to make up excuses as to why we didn’t comply!

1. Meeting the prospective in-laws for the first time.
I fell off a ladder and broke my arm!

2. Going to your partner’s firm’s social evening where you know it will be talking shop all night.
I’ve got a tummy ache so think I’ll stay home!

3. Not going to school on a test day.
Because I’m too clever and will only make the other students look bad if they don’t know the answers!

4. Broken a window whilst playing outside
Oh sorry, I hit the ball too hard and I missed the wall and landed on the window instead!

5. Having gone shopping, spent all the money, but not bought anything on the list.
There were too many shiny things, I just couldn’t resist!

6. Damaged the car
Well, it was due for an MoT anyway, so what is a little damage?

7. Late for work
I was making a cake for my husbands birthday.

8. Forgotten to do your homework
My memory isn’t what it used to be, I think I have forgetful syndrome!

9. Insurance claim for damage to property
Oh well, I did burn the house down, hence the claim!

10. Ruined an expensive piece of clothing.

My dog drooled all over it!
