Monolog with myself #SoCs

My morning monolog…

Wake up early, roll over, another 10 minutes of sleep would be good.

10 minutes turns into 30!

Go downstairs, make tea.

Hi, mom, I say. what’s up?

Mom is busy on her phone, texting, and it is only 7 AM!

Well, now that I can’t get my mom’s attention, I decide to get on my own phone and check my messages, blog comments and likes and also check the weather.

Good. The sun is going to shine today. That always makes the day better.

Mom starts making breakfast. I am hungry, and the smell of the food cooking is amazing.

We eat breakfast and then I go back upstairs to check my email.

It is 8:20 now. A plumber is supposed to come at 9:30 to work on putting two new taps in the kitchen sink.

I’ll have to stay out of his way, so I intend on reading my book.

And that, my friends is my morning monolog.
