Afternoon anxiety

This afternoon

My anxiety has kicked up a notch

I am markedly more anxious

So what do I do?

I distract, I try to keep my mind moving

I take a Xanax

Read, watch tv

And hope that soon

The anxiety will calm down

And I can breathe again.

  1. I had a lot of anxiety when I was younger, however, it’s rare I become anxious now. Listening to music helps a lot and so does writing and reading blogs. 💕
