I survived

You my abuser

You are a parasite

A disgusting human

If you can call yourself that

I am glad

That even though you tried hard

You did not turn me into you

I did not do the ugly things you did

I was a kid back then

Only 9 or 10

But you stole my innocence

You stole everything

But still I won

I grew up

And I like who I’ve become

You tried to break me

But you didn’t, and I am free.
