I may be a mess

I may be a mess
So full of distress
But I am strong
I learned from the best
I am seen as weak to some
Sometimes I just need to be numb
Failure is not an option, I admit
I can never quit
I wouldn’t anyhow
I didn’t then, and I won’t now.
