I brought Nitro home

I got a call from the vet’s office this morning.

Nitro’s ashes were ready to be picked up.

I went down there and picked them up and the vet had made a paw print for me also.

I brought them home and now they take pride of place on my mantelpiece.

Run free, sweet Nitro!

Your back where you belong now.

The pain doesn’t get any easier, but I am happy you’re here in the house with me now.

❤ ❤
