#Weekend coffee share 19th March

Hi, everyone!

Do you want to join me for coffee? I would be so glad if you did!

I have tea, coffee, milk, water, and juice!

Come on over and lets catch up!

If we were having coffee, I’d first tell you that our weather has turned pretty warm! It has been nice the last two days, well, there was rain on saint Patrick’s day, but in the afternoon the sun shone, and ever since then, we’ve had dry weather. It has been a little windy, but I don’t care about wind, as long as it is dry and the sun shines!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that this week I spoke to my community psychiatric nurse Sarah. She is going to work with me on healthy eating, and my weight loss goals. I am waiting to see a dietician because of my high blood sugar, but in the meantime, I will do some work with Sarah around my diet.

If we were having coffee I’d also tell you that I applied some weeks back for funding for transportation to get to my therapists office each week, well, my application was denied, so now me and the social worker on my mental health team are going to appeal the denial letter. I don’t actually need the funding at the moment, as right now my transportation is paid for but in the future I will probably need it.

If we were having coffee I’d tell you that I’ve really been enjoying playing with my parents dog Charlie, he’s just the cutest dog. I love him. He’s so cuddly and he’s a bundle of energy.

If we were having coffee, I’d also tell you that today is mother’s day here in Ireland. I celebrated mother’s day yesterday, so today we’re not going to do anything, but my mom said she really enjoyed her day and it was nice to celebrate all that she does for me.

Lastly, if we were having coffee I’d tell you that it is also my parents wedding anniversary today. They’ve been married 43 years, and I’ll be 43 in April, so they’ve been married a long time!

I hope you enjoyed our catch up, and I hope you’ll join me again next weekend for another one!
