Supporting our local animal rescue center

Someone from our local animal rescue center just came to my door, he was selling cookbooks.

They are raising funds, and so I bought one.

I will look at it with Trish this afternoon. He said it is full of recipes, so maybe I can get some ideas out of it for things to cook with Trish.

I told him that I might be looking for a new dog.

He told me that there are phone numbers on the back of the book, and if I want to get a dog to give them a call.

He was very nice. I will definitely look at their website to see what they offer.

I hadn’t heard of them before today.
