Orange status weather warning

We’ve been having really bad weather here in Ireland. We’ve got a status orange weather warning in place tonight.

There has been heavy snowfall, lots of ice, high winds, and lots of rain.

Different counties in Ireland have had different types of weather today.

Here where I live, in Cork, we’ve just had rain and high winds.

But in other counties there is a lot of snow and ice.

In cork temps are meant to go down to 0 degrees C tonight, that is 32 F!

So I put my heating on! I put a blanket over me and I am now relaxing on my recliner!

I won’t be cold!

  1. We have a yellow alert, but other parts of the UK have amber. Here on the coast, we get the high winds and the cold, but not necessary the bad weather. However, saying that, we have had snow every year since we’ve been here, and the beach has been white with it! Keep safe and warm
