What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
One question I hate to be asked is, how do you find your way around? Well I am blind, that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to find my way around
I’ve had mobility lessons to help me to find my way around and I’ve used a cane and a guide dog. It’s easy enough to find your way around, especially when you’ve been blind since birth like I have.
I know people mean well, but I hate being asked that question. It drives me nuts.

Understandable! However, if you can see, you can’t really imagine what it would be like not to.

Some questions I hate are related to my mental health when I’m not doing well. Like, why don’t just get over it? Why are you overthinking this so much? Why don’t you just do something to forget about it? … It really makes me think that people don’t understand what having mental health issues means.

I’m not really a fan of all of those questions either, I don’t like being asked a whole lot of questions and when people don’t understand it drives me nuts I know they have to learn but I really hate answering questions

I understand your irritation, and if I were in your place, it would drive me crazy too. However, as someone on the other side of the divide, I understand the curiosity of the people asking the question. Sighted people are so dependent on their vision that they can’t imagine how people who can’t see get along… unless they are well acquainted with someone like you, and have had the chance to observe how capable and independent you are, and how well you manage things on your own. 🙂

I hate to be asked about my personal life like “Are you still studying or why did you stop” ? It feels me annoyed , when I answered them already but they keep asking the same thing, as if they care but they’re not, just to satisfied with their curiosity.
