That girl is me

A strong voice

That no one knows

Like the wind blows

Tells her she is full of herself

She ignores this

For some people the drama would be a bore

They tell her she’s not pretty

and that she’s Full of herself

She fights and fights

With all her might

How do I cope ?

The future still looks bright .

She tries to stick to the status quo

But she sinks lower and low.

She tries not to believe the lies

But they ring in her head

As she cries and cries within

She doesn’t shed a tear

She is a brave soldier

Who put up with a lot

She doesn’t want to be the girl you forgot.

She’s doing her thing

The truth will ring

That girl is me
