A cool calm Sunday morning

I wake at 7 AM

After a blissful night’s sleep

Breakfast is cooking

Sausage rolls

With tomato ketchup is my concoction of the morning

Bake them in the oven

For 15 minutes

They come out all brown and very crispy

I enjoy them with a mug of tea

As I read through my emails

On this cool Sunday morning

All is right in my world

I feel happy and content.
