Thursdays six sentence story link up!

Prompt word: Date

I’m looking forward to March 1st. Why that date you ask?

Because it is the start of spring!

The sun will shine more, the flowers will be in bloom, and the days are longer, and I am much happier.

Easter and my birthday will be in April, both of which I love.

Spring is just the best season, its my favorite hands down!

  1. March 21st may be the official start of spring, but here in southern Ontario, we still anticipate yet another snowfall until mid April. The robins and the red winged blackbirds, and even the buds on the trees, start acting like it’s properly spring, but so long as there can still be another snowfall, I keep my hopes tempered. To quote a certain hobbit, “We’ve had one [winter] yet, but what about second [winter]?” We’re currently having a week of false spring, which we’ve thoroughly enjoyed, but next week we’re going back to winter’s regular content. Anyhoo, I hope your spring will be as lovely as anticipated!
