Peace

1. How do you define peace on a personal level? Peace to me is being relaxed, not having to deal with any stress, and just being content and feeling happy.

2. What does finding peace mean to you? Like I said, I find peace in the little things, relaxing, listening to soft music, writing as I listen to music, reading uplifting quotes and poems.

3. What environment (the ocean, the mountains, the desert, etc) brings you peace? I love the beach, and standing at the edge of the ocean, listening to the sound of waves crashing as they come in.

4. Is there a person whose presence puts you at ease and gives you a feeling of peace? It used to be my dog, Nitro that brought me peace, but also, when I talk to my therapist, she is calm, her voice soothes me, and calms me right down.

  1. It’s good to be able to identify the things that bring us peace. I think of peace as a state of wellness that allows us to maintain centre even during the stressful times – having the faith and foundation to trust in life. Not easily attainable.
