My Faith

I am not a big believer. I do have faith but it’s not very strong.

I am spiritual in my own way.

I believe in angels, and I believe in a higher power.

Not sure about god though. Where was he when I was being abused?

I often question if there is a god at all.

There is so much cruelty and evil in our world.

Why would god allow this to be so?

I really am unsure what I believe, I do pray though.

Mostly I pray to my guardian angel.

  1. Here’s how I would explain it – for God to fix everything wrong with the world He would have to control everybody’s thoughts and actions to that they didn’t do or think anything other that what He deemed to be perfect. Then we wouldn’t have free will and wouldn’t choose to love God. So God has to let us have free will so that hopefully we will choose to follow the Lord Jesus and God.
But … if you have a close relationship with God (like me because He chooses to) and you think God isn’t doing things the way you would like and you are stupid enough to keep challenging Him about it (like I did) you find out the hard way that God certainly can change the way you see, think about and understand something and He can make you feel how angry He is. Needless to say I wish I could undo this and I have a whole new respect for God.
