Oh sleep, where are you!

Di is the host of the 3 things daily challenge, where each morning she gives us 3 words, and our challenge is to write a story, poem, prose piece, using one, two or all three words.

Your three words today are:
SULLEN
SULTRY
STUFFY

Tonight I am in a sullen mood. Why?

Because my nose is feeling stuffy, and I don’t feel too good!

In fact I feel crappy!

And I can’t sleep, which is making me irritated.

It is midnight now, and I am wide awake. I knew I shouldn’t have slept in late this morning!

Sigh…

  1. Oh how I can relate! I’ve had two consecutive nights of not turning out the light until after midnight and I’m exhausted. As for sleeping in, 8 am if I’m lucky. Maya will want to go out around 6, and may not do anything (grrrr) but let me sleep another hour or so. 8 o’clock though and the nose is under the duvet and she presents me with her gonk for breakfast fillup!
