January reflections: #WBOYC

This year is off to a great start!

I did not do a word of the year, I decided that rather than write down one word for the year, I would focus on a few words!

So my words are gratitude, joy, and kindness!

And I found joy in many things this month!

Walking my dog, journalling, cooking, to name a few!

I also did a few small random acts of kindness this past month.

Saying hi to strangers on the street, giving my friends a helping hand where I could, helping my mom out around the house, to name a few!

I feel that its good to be kind when you can, and find joy in the little things.

My diet has not been great…that needs to change, but baby steps, I can’t do it all at once!

But with my recent blood sugar scare, I know the diet needs to change, and I need to do more exercise, and eat a little more healthily.

So I will do that in February!

I had a lovely family day out this month with my mom and sister. I totally enjoyed our lunch!

I’m glad January’s over. The weather here in Ireland wasn’t too good. And February isn’t looking great either. More ice, and snow is in our forecast!

I’m just glad I didn’t fall on the ice when we had it in January!

Fingers crossed it stays like that if we get any more. I don’t want to break an arm or a leg!

Well I hope you’ve all had a great start to this year, hope this month has been good to you!

  1. Hi Carol Anne, thanks for joining us at WBOYC and sharing what’s been happening in your world over last month. Your words for the year are very important one, gratitude, joy and kindness – the world needs more of them! All the best for the month ahead and we hope you can join us again for WBOYC.
