D-verse prosery-stitched with love

Everything I do is stitched with its colour. But does anyone even know what that colour is?

The colour of what, you ask? The colour of love!

Is it passionate like red, hot like pink, surely it isn’t blue?

The quilt I am currently making, its fabric so soft, is stitched with love, so much love in my heart.

I will hand this to my partner when its made, and she’ll cherish it forever.

This quilt, this quilt has all the colours of love running through it.

This is not a true story!

Written in response to D-Verse prosery, where tonight’s host, Lisa, gives us the following line to use, to write a piece of prose.

Everything I do is stitched with its colour…

  1. Your piece really appeals to me, Carol Anne, firstly because it’s so lovingly written and secondly because a very dear friend of mine is a quilter and she does indeed stitch with love and colour.
