When he has been laying in his bed all afternoon and he refuses to get up to go out. He did eventually get up, but it was like, a huge effort for him. My poor boy is getting so old! He’s 12 now. I think he may be getting a little bit of arthritis in his joints, poor boy. I gave him a treat when he came back in. I don’t think he actually did anything when he went outside, except stand looking at me and he was probably saying in his head, mom, its cold out here, let me back in! He’s such a cutie, love him to pieces! I wish he didn’t have to get old.

She went from walking slow and sad to not being able to walk at all she would try so hard to sit up, but her legs were fucked and useless.
They found 15 micro dots in her abdomen I knew we all knew except the Vet wanted to do another X -ray which would’ve cost 900 cad no thanks to confirmed what I already knew.
We cremated her now she is here with us my daughter still is suffering and depressed.
No more pain or ensuffering
this was lyrics I wrote and dedicated to Dakota .

We gave Maggie glucosamine which helped. You can find it on the internet for dosage. We got it from Lidl and gave her half a tablet a day. She was almost 16 when we lost her in Nov 2020. It still hurts, even though we have Maya now. We are blessed to have dogs in our lives and to love them.

She was a good age Di it’s so hard when you lose them you always miss them and think of them. I still think of my first guide dog Goldie, who is a golden retriever. I lost her in 2009 at the age of 13 1/2. She had a heart attack.

Oh, how sad Carol Anne. We could see Maggie going downhill but she always rallied. She had a horrible last year and we nearly lost her twice. The pain of that last day will never go away.
