Being trendy and popular, isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

Being popular and trendy

Isn’t always good

People don’t turn out

The way they should

They are full of airs and graces

Thinking they’ll go places

Sometimes it is cool

To be the unpopular one

Your friendships are much deeper

And they mean more to you

You’ll do anything for your friends

Move heaven and earth

You’ve got one another’s backs

Not like those trendy popular kids

Who chew their friends up

Then spit them out again.
