Back to work

I got a call this afternoon from my supervisor on friendly call.

She was checking in with me to see if I was ok.

I have taken the last few weeks off of work, due to mom being so ill.

I am ready to go back now though. I told her I will go back to work next week.

She was fine with that, and she told me I can email her as soon as I am ready to come back.

I told her I’ll come back on this coming Monday.

She’s a new supervisor. Her name is Jackie. I don’t know what happened to the last supervisor, Fiona.

I didn’t like to ask.

I am looking forward to being back at work again.
