Are you influenced by adverts for holidays or anything else for that matter.
My answer?
Not really. I mean I do like to see what ads are put out around the holidays, but I don’t really buy things just because I’ve seen an ad for something.
If I want to buy something, I do my research first.
Is it a good purchase? Do I need it? Is it costly?
I never really buy things on a whim.
If I am making a big purchase, I will check out the thing I am buying thoroughly first before I buy it.

Sensible approach Carol Anne. We do too, as it’s not just the cost of the item, but running it as well.
We check out all large purchase from cars to washing machines and printers to battery operated drills. No point buying something cheap if it’s going to cost an arm and a leg to keep it running.

My niece bought a fancy car then asked her Mum for the money to tax and insure it, then later money to put fuel in it. She wrote it off a few weeks later and asked her Mum for some more money to buy a replacement. Her Dad told her to catch the bus.
