Like the survivors we are

I stand

In solidarity

With all

Survivors of trauma

We stand together

United as one

Never alone

We’ve got each others backs

Lifting one another up

Helping each other through

Days, nights

When times are tough

When flashbacks hit

When memories threaten

To send you spinning

We are here

Holding hands

United as one

Encouraging one another

Always encouraging

Trauma is a terrible thing

To go through

Any sort of trauma

But we have come through it

Come out the other side

And now

We rise

Like the phoenix

Spreading our wings

The survivors that we are.
