I think I’m gonna be sick for christmas

I’ve been awake since 1 AM! I’ve been having cold symptoms since yesterday, watery nose, sniffles, chills, etc.

I think it might be my sinuses, because I feel all stuffed up!

I don’t think its covid, but I haven’t taken a test.

I asked mom if she wanted me to stay home instead of going to my parents house but she said no.

She wants me to come for the holidays. She said if I get worse I can just wear a mask around her.

I hope I don’t get any worse.

I hate not being able to breathe through my nose!

But everyone is sick with this. People are coming down with this cold type thing all over Ireland.

I took some meds last night. And this morning.

I took paracetamol. And I will buy lemsip today at the store.

Its not ideal me being sick, and going to mom and dads, but the alternative is to spend Christmas alone, and my parents don’t want me to do that.

I don’t want to do that either!

Please pray I don’t get any worse.

And pray it isn’t covid!

I have to go out to the store this morning but I will be waring a mask all of the time when I am there.

One good thing is I don’t have a sore throat, cough, or anything.

Send up all the positive vibes and good thoughts you can guys!

  1. My 13 year old son just got over being sick. Same symptoms as yours but on day 2 he developed a nasty cough. He tested negative for covid twice and is finally feeling better. Praying for you sweetie 💕

  2. I hope you feel better soon! Everyone around here is getting pretty much what you describe, or a bad case of the flu. I just had the drippy sniffles and a cough, but not the flu, I’ve been over it for about 3 days now. It lasted about 5 days. Our winter storm of the century fizzled (thank goodness) It’s very cold and windy, but the roads are fairly good. It’s too cold for the road salt to work, but the snow layer is fairly thin and not too slippery. Get better soon!
