I’m a christmas elf!

Mom has gotten me to do most of her Christmas shopping for her. I’ve bought almost all of her gifts for people except me hahaha!

Anyway, this afternoon she rang me.

Mom: Laura is looking for an Alexa? Do you know where I can get one?

Me: Mom…its 2 days before Christmas?

Mom: I know, but can you think of anywhere that will sell them?

Me: Yes, let me go look on a few sites, and see what I can figure out.

Then off I went hunting on amazon, and some irish retail sites to see if I could get an alexa.

I found one on one of the Irish retail sites, but it wouldn’t be available until next week so after Christmas.

Me, ringing mom back…

Mom, what about google? A google speaker?

Mom: Does it do the same as Alexa?

Me: It does exactly the same thing. Its just that amazon makes the Alexa speaker, and google makes this one. But honestly? It’s the same thing.

Mom: Can you price them for me?

So off I went again to call around our local stores and price the google nest mini speakers.

The lady I spoke to at the first store told me that they had them in stock, for 35 euro.

You need to go online to order it and then click and collect it, to make sure you will be able to get one, she said.

They are popular stocking stuffers!

So that is what I did!

I bought it and I will collect it in the morning when I go out with Frances!

Hey presto! I got mom out of a pinch!

Everything I have to do tomorrow morning is for my mom!

I have more gifts to buy for her, and some food items to pick up last minute food stuff for Christmas!

I’ll be coming with so many bags when I get to her house!

Just nickname me the Christmas Elf!
