Mom is really improving now! I am so relieved!
I mean, she still has a ways to go, but she’s getting better!
She’s still on steroids, but she’s taking them orally now, instead of intravenously.
She’s still on intravenous antibiotics though.
She’s also on new nebulizer drugs…including a drug to dislodge the phlegm in her lungs.
Its working well, thank god!
Today has been her best day so far. Her mood is good!
She’s starting to eat again too! Thank god as she has lost about 18 pounds in 3 weeks.
I still cant go see her, her ward is still on lockdown for another four days.
Not being able to see her is hard. All I want to do is hug her!
At least I am worrying about her a little less now though. I was so so worried earlier in the week.
I’m more hopeful now.
My mom is a fighter! She’s not ready to give up or give in!
She’s a strong woman, as my therapist Eileen said in a text to me last night!

She clearly must be a fighter indeed! I’m glad she’s improving and hope it’ll continue this way. It’s really sad you can’t see her though.
