My day in a nutshell!

I had a busy morning with Frances. As I said earlier, I went to be weighed, and I was down half a pound. I am now down 10 pounds in total since rejoining slimming world a few weeks ago.

I did not stay for the group meeting today. I had to go to the bank and get bank statements for the last six months, because tomorrow morning I meet with the social worker on Dr. Barry’s team. She’s going to make an application for me for funding for taxi’s to and from therapy, and I needed the bank statements to support my application.

The lady I spoke to in the bank was lovely. She was so helpful. She restored my faith in people!

She told me that normally there is a charge of 3 euros 50 for each page when your printing a statement, but she waved the charge, and she helped me to print them out right there and then.

After that, Frances and I went to Starbucks, and I got a ginger bread latte and a slice of carrot cake. I got Frances a hot chocolate. Normally she gets a small hot chocolate, but today I told her I was going to buy her a medium size one and I told the barista to put whipped cream on it.

She loved it! I had whipped cream on my latte, too!

I was going to do some Christmas shopping today, but by the time we left the bank and Starbucks, I felt tired, so I just went and got some cards that my mom asked me to pick up for her, and that was all I did, I did let Frances pick up a gift set for my uncle whose in a nursing home, its my dad’s brother, for Christmas, it was 20 euro but that is his Christmas gift sorted now.

We got home at 12 Pm. Then, Frances did a lot of housework. She vacuumed, mopped the floors, cleaned my work surfaces, did dishes, ironed my clothes, and put on a wash, all in 90 minutes!

She finished work at 1:30. She was doing a double shift today because she was covering Trish’s shift this week.

When she left I just chilled out. It started raining hard, so I decided to read my book for a bit.

I’ve been ripping some new DVD’S I got in the mail, also!

So that was my day!

Hoping you’ve all had a lovely day today too!
