A fear of insects

I have a terrible fear of insects. I am really triggered by them.

Sometimes I will hallucinate bugs crawling on me, so that makes it all the harder to deal with my phobia of insects.

I am always very nervous whenever a fly or bee or wasp gets into the house.

I will literally scream in terror if one lands on me!

It’s a little crazy, lol.

I think being blind doesn’t help my fear, if I saw them coming towards me that might make it easier to deal with.

The fact I cant see them, and can only hear them buzzing is scary to me.

I love it when its winter, because there aren’t too many flies, bees, etc around!

  1. I hate spiders as you know and have had some horrendous nightmares about them in my hair or crawling over my face. I am not a fan of bugs, and mozzies buzzing at night in the summer drive us both crazy. Maya does not like flies in the house and we are amazed she hasn’t been stung by a bee the way she ‘plays’ with them in the garden.
