Mom had a procedure done today

Sorry I havent written in here over the last day. I was just so exhausted, but I really didn’t sleep much at all. I think I got around 4 hours of sleep in the last 2 days. Mom had her CT scan on her lungs yesterday. The good news is there are no clots. this morning her team decided to do a bronchoscopy, because she’s still coughing up blood. She was put under to have the procedure done. I’m happy to report it was a success and she’s doing well. She still has no results, although the doctor did talk to her after the procedure was finished, but she was still out of it due to anaesthesia, so she didnt really grasp what he said. She thinks he said she’ll be in hospital for another 2 weeks at least, they took biopsies of her lungs and sent them off to the lab. They said she had a lot of mucus in her lungs, so she got as much of it out as they could. It has been a very stressful day. I’ve been super worried. If you can all continue to send prayers, I’d be truly grateful. I know mom is in the right place, she’s safe, and getting the care that she needs. Her two sisters visited her today, which she really enjoyed, it was comforting for her to have them there when she came around from the surgery. Again, thanks for all the continued support, I’m very grateful to you all.
