Skeletons dance
In my brain
Making me totally insane
Nightmares of yesterday
Come a knocking
Haunting my days
And on this Halloween night
A spooky time I am having
I feel the presence
Of ghostly figures
They haunt my house
And I
Captivated by their aura
Listen as I hear the sounds
Spooky, and scary
Making my head spin
To and fro
To and fro
Tumbling thoughts
On this Halloween night
Happy Halloween, I say to myself
As I close my eyes
And attempt to sleep.
