I canceled my therapy

I canceled my therapy session for tomorrow. I need a break. I’ve been doing a lot of very intensive work lately, and I just need some time to regroup.

We’ve been doing EMDR and processing a lot of traumatic memories.

Its hard going, and very draining.

Its also exhausting.

I texted Eileen and I told her I wasn’t going to come in. She was totally understanding, and she offered me a session next week on Tuesday, as Monday is a bank holiday and she isn’t working then.

I also took the opportunity to tell her about my mom being in the hospital. We had a few texts back and forth about that.

I’m glad I have a free day tomorrow. Especially since I am only getting cat naps. I slept for 30 minutes earlier, and then about 2 hours ago I slept for 45 minutes.

And that was all the sleep I’ve gotten so far tonight.

I will have a chill out day tomorrow. I’ve got no plans. Just relax and take it easy. I don’t work, so that is good.
